Studying Abroad? Dr. Natalia Gómez Passport Scholarship

The Dr. Natalia Gómez passport scholarship was established to empower persons with disabilities to go abroad and offset the cost of essential items. Individuals who have been accepted to volunteer, intern, do a gap year, or participate in a study abroad program are encouraged to consider applying. Dr. Gómez, a former faculty member at Grand Valley State University in Michigan motivated, inspired, and encouraged AWD founder, Juanita Lillie, to pursue her passions and follow her dreams which lead to the creation of Abroad With Disabilities in 2014. Dr. Gómez’s unwavering support, dedication, and guidance since inception are why she is the scholarship namesake.
