Services for Students with Disabilities

The SSD office provides accommodations and services free of charge to students that register with us. Depending on the type and severity of the disability, the SSD office makes every effort to provide the appropriate accommodation for academic success. The services in this section are those that registered SSD students can receive through arrangement with their disability coordinator.

Speech-to-Text Services

Students who are deaf/hard of hearing or who have temporary or permanent motoric disabilities are eligible to receive course material in speech-to-text format. This includes notetaking, video captioning, and real-time transcription services.

Introducing… SSD Group Study Tables

Group Study Tables is a pilot project that gives you the opportunity to study independently, but in the company of other serious students.

We’ll reserve rooms and will provide academic mentors when available – at no cost to you. See the schedule.
