Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should be undergraduate freshman and sophomores graduating between December 2020 and June 2022 who have a disability.

The National Leadership Program: Fellowship in Public Policy and Employment

RespectAbility is dedicated to fighting stigmas and advancing opportunities for the one-in-five Americans who have disabilities. Crucial to that work are the cohorts of young leaders that we recruit throughout the year for our National Young Leadership Program.

This semester, RespectAbility will accept up to 15 outstanding and diverse young leaders from around the country who want to advance disability issues and pursue careers in policy, advocacy, or other fields.

The National Leadership Program: Fellowship in Public Policy and Employment

RespectAbility operates the National Leadership Fellowship for junior and senior students who will pursue careers in public policy, advocacy, or nonprofit management.

It is an excellent opportunity for a student looking for opportunities in the nonprofit sector to gain relevant experience. Fellows will gain first-hand experience in research, program management, grant management, budgeting, and other skills essential for the nonprofit sector.
