Dwarfism Awareness Month

Little People of America (LPA) is a nonprofit organization that provides support and information to people of short stature and their families. 

In an effort to be proactive in encouraging public awareness of positive stories of the dwarfism community and in keeping with our mission LPA has declared October National Dwarfism Awareness Month. © 2010 LPA.  


Beyond the Diag | Off-Campus Housing Fairs

It's housing search season! Beyond the Diag is hosting two Off-Campus Housing Fairs this fall! The housing fairs are meant to simplify the search for students seeking off-campus housing.

ADHD in the Trenches at Work and School: Adolescence through Adulthood

In recognition of National ADHD Awareness Month, this talk will discuss past, present and future issues related to adults and adolescents with ADHD and related difficulties. Dr. Markel will provide strategies to enhance work/school productivity based on several of her books. A question and answer period, book signing, and refreshments will follow the presentation. 


A Community Conversation | to increase employment for youth with disabilities

We invite you to join fellow business owners and educators for an engaging panel and conversation about employing young adults with disabilities. Refreshments served.

Investing In Ability Week: Events | University of Michigan Council for Disability Concerns

Many of this year’s Investing in Ability events explore the interconnected nature of disability and diversity. Presented by the University of Michigan Council for Disability Concerns in collaboration with University Human Resources, the University of Michigan Health System, and University Health Service.
