Dwarfism Awareness Month

Little People of America (LPA) is a nonprofit organization that provides support and information to people of short stature and their families. 

In an effort to be proactive in encouraging public awareness of positive stories of the dwarfism community and in keeping with our mission LPA has declared October National Dwarfism Awareness Month. © 2010 LPA.

It's housing search season! Beyond the Diag is hosting two Off-Campus Housing Fairs this fall! The housing fairs are meant to simplify the search for students seeking off-campus housing.

The Undergraduate and Graduate/Professional Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Student Advisory Boards (DEISABs) | Student Life

The Undergraduate and Graduate/Professional Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Student Advisory Boards (DEISABs) will ensure student engagement in and provide student feedback on the implementation and assessment of the University of Michigan’s DEI Strategic Plan.  Each cohort of the DEISAB will be convened monthly by the Vice President for Student Life and the Dean of Students.  At these meetings, institutional and unit DEI Leads will present their DEI initiatives, seek broad student perspective and insight, and work to identify any gaps.

ADHD in the Trenches at Work and School: Adolescence through Adulthood

In recognition of National ADHD Awareness Month, this talk will discuss past, present and future issues related to adults and adolescents with ADHD and related difficulties. Dr. Markel will provide strategies to enhance work/school productivity based on several of her books. A question and answer period, book signing, and refreshments will follow the presentation.
