This award in memory of Adam Miller, an Alum of the University, recognizes a faculty and/or staff member who makes, or has made, an outstanding contribution to the life of a student(s) with a disability at the University of Michigan.
Any student with a disability can nominate a faculty and/or staff member* for recognition.
*If a student would like to nominate an SSD staff member, it is encouraged to recognize that staff member through the James T. Neubacher Award or Certificate of Appreciation through the Council for Disability Concerns.
All nominations must be typewritten (not to exceed 800 words) or submitted in the form of an audiotape. Please include specific examples of the nominee’s contributions.
This award will be presented at the James T. Neubacher Award Ceremony on on Friday, October 25, 2019. The event will take place in the Rackham Assembly Hall from 9:30am - 12pm.
