Temporary Disabilities

Temporary disabilities refer to a short time period in which a person has a disability, for example, a broken leg, a surgical procedure, or a common health condition.

Mobility Impairment

To date, there are approximately eight million Americans who have some type of mobility impairment that necessitates the use of adaptive equipment such as a cane, crutches, walker, wheelchair, or scooter.

Mental Health Conditions

A mental health condition is a diagnosed mental illness or disorder that substantially limits one or more major life activities.

Deaf / Hard of Hearing

Deafness or hearing loss is a full or partial decrease in the ability to detect or understand sounds, caused by a wide range of biological and environmental factors.

Learning Disabilities

An individual who has difficulty processing written or spoken information such that it interferes with his or her ability to read, write, spell, listen, talk, or do math may be diagnosed with a specific learning disability.
