Services for Students with Disabilities

The Ross Financial Aid Office is proud to offer the Friedland Family Goldman Gives Scholarship to a Ross Full Time BBA Sophomores, Juniors, or Senior student that is registered with Services for Students with Disabilities, with either Dyslexia or another Language Learning Disability. This scholarship will be awarded to one person for 2018-2019 in the amount of $5,000. With possibility for renewal.

Criteria:

  • Must be registered with the Services for Students with Disabilities Office. https://ssd.umich.edu/ , with either Dyslexia or another language learning disability.
  • A BBA Sophomore, Junior, or Senior student enrolled Full-Time
  • Have at least and maintains a 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Abide by the Ross Honor Code and the Ross Student Code of Conduct

To apply for the Friedland Family Goldman Gives Scholarship you will want to submit your Services for Students with Disabilities Accommodation Letter, along with a one page single spaced essay about your Language Learning Disability. Upon receiving your application, we will email you back a Release of Information form. Applicants will want to sign and return the Release of Information form to Ross Financial Aid before the due date given in email to complete scholarship their application process.

Submit electronic copies to rossfinaid@umich.edu along with your UMID#, or hard copy to Ross Financial Aid, 700 East University Ave. Kresge Hall, K3521 by 8:00 am (EST) Friday, November 2, 2018.
