The 2013 Investing in Abilities planning committee is seeking interested graduate students with learning disabilities to participate as part of a student panel discussion, titled, “Hidden Stories: Coping Mechanisms and Support Resources for Graduate Students with Learning Differences.”
The panel discussion is being held on October, 31, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. in Assembly Hall, Rackham Graduate School.
We are seeking graduate students who are interested in sharing their stories during an interactive panel. Each panelist will have 5-7 minutes to share their experiences. Panelists will describe the effect their disability has had on their day-to-day lives as graduate students and provide insight on how they cope with graduate study. Each panelist should provide useful tools and strategies.
