Knox Center: Pizza and Planning Focus Groups

As you may have heard, the Knox Center Assistive Technology Computer Lab will be moving upstairs to a larger space with a separate quiet room (room 2054 Shapiro, right side). Before we start finalizing the design, we want to know what YOU think. For example, should it:

  • Continue to be used primarily for independent work, or accommodate group study?
  • Be fully furnished with computers, or allow space for people to bring their own devices?
  • Provide more assistive technologies not available elsewhere on campus?

Focus group sessions, including a brief presentation and ample time for brainstorming, will be held on the following dates at the SSD Office (G-664 Haven Hall):

  • Wednesday, Feb. 20, 6-8 PM
  • Monday, Feb. 25, 6-8 PM

Everyone is welcome to come for part or all of these sessions. Please email RSVPs and dietary accommodation requests (gluten-free, vegetarian, etc.) to Jane Vincent, jbvincen@umich.edu. If you cannot attend but would like to provide input, please email Jane at the same address.
