What attracted you to come to the University of Michigan?

I was attracted to University of Michigan's by its fantastic diversity of top-tier research in a multitude of disciplines: finance, medicine, law, entrepreneurship, and more.  Plus the culture of Michigan was warm and provided a way to create a network of lifelong connections.

What experiences have you had at UM that you'd like to share with others?

My experiences at UM have been fantastic. I have had the opportunity to cheer at the Big House with friends, family, and classmates. I have also explored the Amazon Rainforest for a school project. I have also helped start new clubs at school to bolster our sense of community. UM, especially with the support of Adam Memorial Fund, is a great platform to pursue your dreams, but it's only a tool to make those dream viable. In the end, it's what effort you put in and what you make of it. It is with this invaluable support I've been able to work in a hedge fund and even social venture capital firms to develop a well-rounded skillset.

What advice can you give other students with disabilities?

Don't be afraid to get advice by knocking on professors' doors, talking with new classmates in both formal and informal settings, and lastly undertake unfamiliar ventures to broaden your horizons. Often at times, by forcing yourself out of your box, the learning experiences become doubly enhanced.
